What is Invisalign?
Invisalign straightens your teeth using a series of clear removable aligners. Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear and removable, so you can eat, drink, floss, and brush as usual. Aligners are changed about every two weeks, moving your teeth little by little until they have moved into the final position that your doctor prescribed.
Invisalign typically takes a year or less from start to finish. You’ll switch out your aligners every one to two weeks and see your doctor every six weeks. The number of aligners you will wear vary from case to case.
The Benefits of Invisalign
Invisalign can make it easier to maintain good oral health. Properly positioned teeth are easier to brush and floss than crooked, crowded, or spaced teeth. With good oral hygiene, the chances of decay or periodontal disease are reduced. Proper aligned teeth can create less stress on the teeth and the jaw.
